Wrexham AFC Women starting strong

Wrexham AFC Women are having a really strong season with 5 wins, 1 draw and only 1 loss. They currently sit in 2nd behind Cardiff City.

Sunday, November 19th Wrexham AFC Women face off against Swansea, a team that has been at the top of the league the past several seasons and that Wrexham went 3-3 against in their first match of the season. Since the league began 14 years ago it has been dominated by 3 teams; Cardiff Met, Swansea and Cardiff City. Out of those 14 seasons Swansea and Cardiff Met have each won 6 titles and Cardiff City has won 2.

With Rosie Hughes, sorry Super Rosie Hughes scoring her 101st goal with Wrexham, further cementing her legacy as Wrexham's greatest striker, Im sure the Swansea defense is more than a little intimidated.

This Wrexham Women's team has grown and looks a lot stronger since they first played against Swansea and I'm expecting to see a really great match on Sunday with Wrexham bringing home 3 points.
